The general terms and conditions of sale described below detail the rights and obligations of the La Fabrique des Casiers website and its customer in the context of the sale of the following goods: locker rooms, benches, coat racks, and sanitary cubicles made of compact phenolic laminate. Any service performed by La Fabrique des Casiers therefore implies the buyer's unconditional acceptance of these general terms and conditions of sale.

Payment Terms

Payment can be made by bank transfer or on the website by credit card, PayPal, or Administrative Mandate.

If you wish to make a payment via our online store by card or PayPal, please note that the website has an SSL security certificate (Secure Socket Layer) that guarantees maximum security for your online payments. The SSL certificate is a security protocol developed by Netscape Communications to ensure the security of data transmissions between a server and a user, or vice versa, via the Internet. Furthermore, in accordance with the European Directive on the security of digital payments, we will require double security verification during payment.

Delivery Time

Orders are shipped within a timeframe of 3 to 5 weeks after payment is received. The delivery time for products is subject to change only in the following cases:

  • Custom orders, tailored or with unique specifications: In this case, we will inform the customer of the delivery time during the purchasing process, in writing and individually.

  • Strikes by carriers, natural disasters, or other unforeseen circumstances that may affect the normal operation of transport services.

  • Delivery failures due to the customer's absence or failure to receive the order.

Shipping

Delivery charges are calculated based on weight and destination. Products are delivered on pallets to the end customer to ensure maximum protection during transport.

Delivery will be made to the entrance of the building or company; the price does not include the delivery of furniture to upper/lower floors or moving furniture to interior rooms or areas far from the entrance or unloading point.

Installation Service

Orders include exclusively the supply of products in assembled or kit format. Assembled products are shipped finished and ready to be installed at the final location. Kit products include an instruction guide for easy assembly. If you need our services for product installation, please contact us.

Additional Services

For your convenience, we are pleased to offer you a premium delivery service, which includes transporting the furniture to its final location and/or to upper floors.

Additionally, we can provide an installation service, which includes sending one or more operators—depending on the installation requirements—who will be responsible for placing the product in its final location, as well as securing, connecting, and leveling the products.

Quality Guarantee

The items displayed on our website come with a one-year warranty from the date of the order for any manufacturing defects. The warranty may be fulfilled by replacing or repairing the products. FDC will cover any new shipping costs if necessary. FDC is not responsible for damages caused by customer handling or vandalism.

Voluntary Return

The return period is 14 calendar days from the date of receipt of the goods. The product must be in perfect condition, in its original packaging, and with all accessories included. All returns incur a cost of 20% of the total order amount. After verifying the condition of the product, we will proceed to refund 80% of the order amount.

The costs incurred for the transportation of the returned order will be the responsibility of the customer. You may use your own transport agency or ask us to manage the transport, in which case we will deduct the corresponding shipping amount from the refund.

In accordance with current legislation on product returns, we do not accept the return of customized products requested by the customer with specifications other than the options provided on our website, such as measurements, colors, locks, and other special accessories.

Damages Caused During Transport

FDC will address damages incurred during transport when such damages have been noted on the delivery slip by the customer. In these cases, the customer may choose to return or repair the items/products in the affected order. The shipping costs incurred in these cases will be covered by FDC.

Return and Warranty Procedure

To request a refund of any kind or to apply the warranty, the procedure to follow is as follows:

  1. Send a written request to info@lafabriquedescasiers.fr, indicating the order number and the type of request (voluntary return, damage refund, or warranty).
  2. In the case of a return for damage or warranty, the damage or defects in question should be briefly described in the email, along with graphic material (photos and/or videos) of the affected products.
  3. FDC will confirm the return or warranty to the customer with the next steps to follow by email.
  4. In the case of returning or exchanging the product, the customer must deliver the product to the carrier in its original presentation (assembled or disassembled) and properly packaged (on the pallet it was received with the protections).
  5. In cases where a refund is required, it will be processed within 14 days of receiving the merchandise at the warehouse.
Taxes

Sales made to customers located in the United Kingdom are exempt from VAT, as these transactions are considered international export operations for tax purposes. This exemption applies to all purchases made through our website. The customer is responsible for any taxes, duties, or additional charges that may apply in the destination country. By placing an order, the customer agrees that the transaction is subject to these terms and acknowledges that it is their responsibility to be informed about the tax regulations applicable in their jurisdiction.

Order Cancellation

Order cancellation can only be made before the manufacturing process has begun. FDC reserves the right to retain the amounts paid by the customer up to the date of cancellation to cover the costs incurred for the supply of raw materials, as well as any other expenses incurred in executing the order placed.
